Education Adelaide Mensah is an Assistant lecturer in Pharmaceutics, School of Pharmacy, University of Health and allied Sciences(UHAS). She obtained her MPhil Pharmaceutics and B. Pharm degrees from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.
Work Experience
Adelaide worked with International SOS site clinic, where she served as a medical emergency response team member. She worked with three community pharmacies where she superintended the activities of the facilities. During her stay in KNUST, she served as a teaching and research assistant in the Department of Pharmaceutics.
Science/Research Output
Adelaide is interested in Drug design, specifically identifying and modifying types of targeted drug delivery systems in enzyme replacement therapy and cancer chemotherapy.
Additionally, she has a strong interest in the development, formulation, standardization and quality evaluation of herbal medicines, antibiotics and antimalarial drugs including characterization of their safety profiles (pharmacovigilance).
