Professor Eric Woode joined the University of Health and Allied Sciences in 2020 as a Professor in the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology.
Education
Professor Woode attended Mpfantsipim Secondary School where he obtained his GCE/SC ‘O’ and ‘A’ Level certificates. He obtained a Bachelor of Pharmacy Honors (B. Pharm. Hons) degree from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) and a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Glasgow in Scotland. Professor Woode is a Pharmacist, a Fellow of Pharmaceutical Society of Ghana, a Member of the Ghana Science Association, a Member of the West African Society of Pharmacologists and a Fellow of the West African Postgraduate College of Pharmacists.
Work Experience
Professor Eric Woode, prior to his appointment, a member of the Faculty of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), where he rose through the ranks from a National Service Person in 1982 to a Professor in 2014. During this period, Professor Woode worn awards and grants including the Best Health Science Researcher, KNUST in 2011.
