LYDIA FRANCISCA OTOO

 

miss lydia francisca otoo 1551281279Miss Lydia Francisca Otoo is a Pharmacist by profession and currently an Assistant Lecturer in the University of Health and Allied Sciences, Ho.

Education

She holds an MPhil in Natural Product Pharmacology from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Ghana where she also obtained her B. Pharm degree.

Work Experience

Miss Otoo worked as a teaching and research assistant in the department of Pharmacology in KNUST. She was a superintendent pharmacist for I and T Pharmacy for three years.

Research Interest

Lydia’s earlier research focused on the the effect of a locally used plant, Picralima nitida, on various reproductive indices using animal models.

Miss Otoo currently specialises in the following areas: Natural Product Pharmacology, Endocrine Disrupting Compounds and Reproductive and Developmental health effects of naturally derived compounds.
