YUSSIF SAAKA

yussif saaka

 Dr. Yussif Saaka is a Lecturer of Pharmaceutics in the School of Pharmacy, University of Health and Allied Sciences.

 

Education

Yussif began his undergraduate study at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in 2005, reading for a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree. He spent one year as an intern Pharmacist at the KorleBu Teaching Hospital, after which he enrolled on the MSc. in Analytical Chemistry (AS:MIT) program at the University of Warwick. He completed his Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Science (Molecular Biophysics) at King’s College London.

Work experience

Prior to joining UHAS in 2019, Yussif served as Formulation Lead for Saakabi Company Limited; resulting in the development of novel products for personal-care, automotive and industrial use.
