Araba Ata Hutton-Nyameaye is an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Pharmacy Practice, School of Pharmacy, University of Health and Allied Sciences located in Ho, Volta Region, Ghana. She is a Clinical Pharmacist.
Education She undertook both her undergraduate (B. Pharm) and postgraduate studies (MPhil in Clinical Pharmacy) in Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi, Ghana.
Work Experience Prior to this, she worked with Hem Pharma Services Limited as the Superintendent Pharmacist. During her postgraduate studies, she was a demonstrator in charge of the therapeutics laboratory sessions handled by the Department of Clinical and Social Pharmacy, Faculty of Pharmacy, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. Kumasi. She has also had the opportunity of working with some seasoned clinical pharmacists (preceptors) in hospitals such as Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, Kumasi and Police Hospital (Accra). She was also a teaching assistant/ research assistant during her National service in the Department of Pharmaceutics, K.N.U.S.T.
Science/Research output Her main research area is in the practice of clinical pharmacy in all health settings especially the community pharmacy. She has conducted a study on the documentation of clinical interventions by some pharmacists.
