ENTRY REQUIREMENT (MPHIL PHARMACOGNOSY)

  1. Applicants must hold at least a Second-Class (Lower Division) or overseas equivalent in a relevant science programme at the Bachelor level (including, but not limited to Pharmacy, Herbal Medicine, Botany, Biochemistry, Biomedical Sciences, Agriculture, Pure or Applied chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences) or any related discipline as may be approved by the Departmental Postgraduate Committee.
  2. Ghanaian and international students are eligible to apply.
  3. Applicants must pass an admission interview.

All applicants are expected to submit the following during their applications:

  1. Two reference statements/letters from professional and/academic referees.
  2. A Statement of Purpose from the applicant (not more than 500 words)
  3. Research proposal (not more than 500 words)
  4. Original transcript of the degree(s) obtained

Only candidates who meet the minimum requirements upon review of submitted relevant documents will be shortlisted and invited to undergo a selection interview by the Postgraduate Committee of the Department of Pharmacognosy and Herbal Medicine, School of Pharmacy, UHAS. If it is not possible for candidate to attend in person, the interview may be conducted virtually.
