MSC Pharmaceutical Chemistry

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS (MSC PHARMACEUTICAL CHEMISTRY)

  1. The entry requirement for the MSc programme at the School of Pharmacy is at least a Second-Class (Lower Division) or overseas equivalent in a relevant science programme at the bachelor level (including, but not limited to pure or applied chemistry, biochemistry, chemical engineering, pharmacy, pharmaceutical sciences, life, and biomedical sciences) from an accredited institution.

  2. A candidate with a good first degree in a relevant science programme and a minimum of three years working experience in a pharmaceutical industry would be eligible.

  3. International students are eligible to apply. Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in a relevant science programme from an institution verified by GTEC.

 

All applicants are expected to submit the following during their applications.

  1. Two reference statements/letters from professional and/academic referees.
  2. A Statement of Purpose from the applicant (not more than 500 words)
  3. An outline of Proposed Research
  4. Original transcript of the degree(s) obtained

 

Only candidates who meet the minimum requirements upon review of submitted relevant documents will be shortlisted and invited to undergo a selection interview by the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, School of Pharmacy, UHAS. If it is not possible for candidate to attend in person, other methods may be employed
