ENTRY REQUIREMENTS (MSC PHARMACEUTICAL CHEMISTRY)
The entry requirement for the MSc programme at the School of Pharmacy is at least a Second-Class (Lower Division) or overseas equivalent in a relevant science programme at the bachelor level (including, but not limited to pure or applied chemistry, biochemistry, chemical engineering, pharmacy, pharmaceutical sciences, life, and biomedical sciences) from an accredited institution.
A candidate with a good first degree in a relevant science programme and a minimum of three years working experience in a pharmaceutical industry would be eligible.
International students are eligible to apply. Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in a relevant science programme from an institution verified by GTEC.
All applicants are expected to submit the following during their applications.
- Two reference statements/letters from professional and/academic referees.
- A Statement of Purpose from the applicant (not more than 500 words)
- An outline of Proposed Research
- Original transcript of the degree(s) obtained
Only candidates who meet the minimum requirements upon review of submitted relevant documents will be shortlisted and invited to undergo a selection interview by the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, School of Pharmacy, UHAS. If it is not possible for candidate to attend in person, other methods may be employed
